Banking and financial institutions understood and analysed using the toolkit of economics
The programme emphasises the inter-relationships between banks, financial markets, and the financial system. 
You will also examine a number of the statistical and modelling tools used by economists working in the banking and financial services sector.

For careers in the financial sectors of industry, Government or economic consultancy.

MSc Economics and Finance

CONTENT
Model banking and financial markets using the toolkit of economics
You will learn how economic events and economic decision making affect banks and financial markets and how financial developments affect the economy.
You will also be exposed to the statistical and modelling tools used by economists working for financial services firms, financial regulators, central banks and economic consultancies.
